A, I am jobless...

Just because one isn’t interested in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you. It’s no secret that there is a lot of pain and fear spawning within the human race, however, feeding that only creates more chaos. As an old Native American story goes, there are two wolves fighting inside of us all- the wolf of fear/hate and the wolf of love/peace. Which one comes out victorious? The one you feed. Blame has been thrown against immigrants for jobs not being available to the American citizens continuously throughout the past year, however, we couldn’t be farther from the truth. The recent rise in cheap yet efficient labor via robots have displaced thousands of jobs worldwide and will continue do so in the following years to come. The question is- are YOU ready?

Blue collar workers have been affected worldwide via the rise of machines and soon, white collar workers could be affected as well. Look at Amazon: robots communicating via WiFi are making your Prime deliveries possible. Companies like GMC now hold a multitude of machines that manufacture the vehicles you drive on your day to day commutes. Doctors, accountants, and other professions could soon be affected as well as robots are being created to efficiently do their jobs. But are companies to blame for this? Absolutely not. Efficiency, affordability, and dependability are appealing to everyone and being that corporations are out to make profits, wouldn’t you do the same if you could make MORE money in this capitalistic game? Blame is thrown around so much nowadays that it hinders solutions from being executed. We must all accept reality, responsibility, and work towards creating a solution that will work for us all. Sometimes, leaders in place fail to propel us towards a better future and in fact, set us backwards. Truth is, technology is advancing at an incredible rate that a revolution on many levels is unstoppable. A lot of archaic ideals must change if we want to make this country and this world a better place and what I love about millennials and forth coming generations is that their perspective is so much broader, accepting, and revolutionary to a point that the great change once thought of as impossible now seems truly attainable. We are about to go through a renaissance where EVERYTHING will be affected by technology and you’ll either get onboard or be left behind. Luckily, there is nothing like having that face to face human experience that will in turn become priceless. Capitalism must be upgraded to an efficient system of living where the 99% have an opportunity and fair chance at working their way up the ladder of success.

In conclusion, don’t be fooled. People are being pitted against one another continuously via media and political figures, but only through unity can we solve our issues. Be the solution, not the problem. Let’s make this world a better place and make Earth the heaven is created to be.
