Hiatus

2017 has been a year of transition for me. I quit my 10 year job, ended relationships, made some major moves, and am now taking an overdue musical hiatus. It’s been about leaving behind ideas, people, and things that weigh one down and prevent one from blossoming and growing into a better version of oneself. This year has undoubtedly been one where I’ve learned to fully respect, love, and appreciate what it is I bring to the table. My gifts, my time, my energy, and my body are extremely valuable to me and from this second forward, I’ll be creatively using them in ways I have yet to explore. I’m a lover, a curious mind; I’m stepping out from the walls of conformity and social "norms" (even more so than I have in the past) by trying new things and focusing on being. My musical catalog stands strong, and I’m very proud of the 11 albums I’ve independently recorded within this 11 year span. While music will always be a part of who I am and what I do, I am no longer seeking to be in the spotlight as a solo artist. If you see me on a stage, it will be for other creative reasons. 2017- the year I decided to no longer chase people, ideas, or things. If you want me, come find me. The talent’s there; you see it or you don’t, and baby, I confidently, yet humbly affirm: I’m GOLDEN! This I promise you: the best is yet to come.
